UI/UX Designer
As a UI/UX Designer at Capmation, you combine product thinking, user-centered design, and strong visual execution to create experiences that are intuitive, consistent, and aligned with client business goals. You lead discovery, shape the end-to-end user experience, and collaborate closely with BAs, PMs, and Tech Leads to ensure feasibility and alignment. You proactively guide clients toward better design decisions, advocate for usability, and elevate the design maturity of every project. Beyond delivery, you strengthen Capmation’s UI/UX practice through mentorship, ownership of design standards, and thought leadership.
Responsibilities
- Lead Discovery & UX Strategy: Run user-centered discovery sessions, map user flows, define UX direction, and ensure solutions align with business goals and user needs.
- Own End-to-End Product Design: Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs; define interactions; and validate concepts quickly with stakeholders and users.
- Drive Design Consistency & Systems Thinking: Establish and maintain design systems, reusable components, and visual standards to bring clarity and cohesion across projects.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with PMs, BAs, Tech Leads, and QA to ensure the design is feasible, aligned to requirements, and implemented correctly.
- Influence Clients & Facilitate Design Decisions: Present design rationale, guide clients through trade-offs, advocate for UX best practices, and maintain alignment on product direction.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of UI/UX or Product Design experience in software development, consulting, or product-driven environments.
- Strong UX expertise across user research, flows, information architecture, and interaction design.
- Advanced UI skills, with proven experience delivering high-quality visual design and component systems.
- Ability to lead workshops (WBS, discovery, usability reviews) and translate insights into structured design direction.
- Strong collaboration skills, working effectively with PMs, BAs, engineers, and stakeholders.
- Excellent communication & presentation skills, especially when influencing client decisions or framing design rationale.
- Experience working with design systems (creation, maintenance, and adoption across teams).
- Proficiency in Figma and modern design tools.
